Exploring Muscat’s Treasures

Your journey begins as you touch down at Muscat International Airport. After smoothly clearing immigration, collecting your baggage, and going through customs, make your way to the arrival hall. There, you'll be warmly welcomed by your chauffeur who will accompany you to your chosen hotel. Settle in and enjoy a restful overnight stay in Muscat.

Today, you will go on a captivating half-day tour of Muscat, the heart of Oman. We'll start the day with a visit to the breathtaking Grand Mosque, a true highlight of the city. Please note that the Grand Mosque visit is not possible on Fridays and certain public holidays. This modern architectural masterpiece, completed in 2001, seamlessly combines modern design with traditional craftsmanship. As you explore, be sure to capture the mosque's beauty, from the intricate handmade carpets to the grand chandeliers and the stunning ceiling of the main prayer room. To enter, ladies should ensure they are fully covered and have a headscarf, while men should wear trousers. 

The journey continues along the picturesque waterfront Corniche, where we'll make a stop at the vibrant Muttrah Souq, a bustling and colourful marketplace filled with local treasures and handicrafts. Don't forget to haggle for some souvenirs. We'll then proceed for a photo stop at the magnificent Al Alam Palace, the official residence of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos. It is flanked by the historic 16th-century Portuguese forts, Mirani and Jalali, adding to the grandeur of the scene. 

The next stop takes us to the Bait Al Zubair Museum, where you can catch a glimpse of Oman's rich history and cultural heritage. As the day comes to a close, we'll return to the hotel for a well-deserved rest. Enjoy your overnight stay in Muscat, reflecting on the wonderful experiences of the day.

Today, we'll take you from your Muscat hotel to the Marina for an exciting escapade. Our destination? The open sea, where we'll set off on a boat in search of Dolphins and Whales. Watching these incredible marine creatures in their natural habitat is a truly exhilarating way to kickstart your day. If you're lucky, you might even have the chance to spot one of the many whale species that call the waters just a short distance from Muscat's rugged coastline their home. 

While we can't promise dolphin or whale sightings on every trip, the journey itself is a memorable experience. You'll gain a deeper understanding of these captivating marine mammals and the ocean they call home. As we return to the Marina, you'll have the rest of the day to yourself, either to explore the city or take advantage of the hotel's facilities. Your night's rest will be at the hotel in Muscat.

Enjoy your morning breakfast and it will be time to bid adieu to Muscat. After checking out from your hotel, we'll arrange for your transfer to Muscat International Airport, where you'll catch your flight back home.
