It is also popularly known as the 'land of festivals and every tribal festival is celebrated with pomp and gaiety, adorned with rich and colorful traditional attires. The most vibrant being the 'Hornbill Festival' where the songs of the ancient Nagas echo and its music reverberates in the true spirit of the tribal men.

Tour guests will arrive at Itanagar Airport as per their scheduled flight. Upon arrival, AKA World Tour Manager will meet these guests at the airport and guide them with airport formalities and lead the way into the city.
Joining and Leaving (J&L) tour guests will join the group on their own at the first destination as per the information and guidance given by the AKA World Travel consultant. 
J&L guests should book their to and fro air tickets as per the arrival and departure time of the scheduled tour flight to get the airport transfers with the group.
In case of early arrival or early departure the transfer charges to reach the designated place or hotel will be borne by the J&L guests.

Today we proceed on a full-day excursion to Ziro – a picturesque valley and the homeland of the Apatani tribe. Surrounded by pine-clad hills, Ziro is known for its unique paddy-cum-fish cultivation.
En route, we enjoy scenic views at Potin Dam and visit Tago Nyishi village. In Ziro, we explore the traditional Apatani villages – Dibbo, Hija, Bulla, Hari, and Hong (Asia’s second largest and most organised tribal village). Here, we get a glimpse of the Apatani way of life – famous for tattooed faces, blackened teeth, and the distinct nose plugs worn by the women.
We return to Itanagar by evening.

 

Today we proceed to Jorhat – the tea capital of Assam. En route, we drive along the scenic outline of Kaziranga National Park.

Today we visit Majuli – the world’s largest river island nestled in the Brahmaputra River. We drive to Nimati Ghat and board a ferry to reach Majuli.
Upon arrival at the island, we visit the famous Auniati Satra and Samaguri Satra – known for preserving Assamese culture, satriya dance, and traditional mask-making. Later we return to Jorhat.

 

Today we proceed to Kohima – the capital of Nagaland. En route, we visit the Sukapha Samannay Kshetra – a memorial dedicated to Chaolung Sukapha, the founder of the Ahom dynasty.
Upon arrival in Kohima, we visit the Kohima War Cemetery (subject to operation), Nagaland State Museum, State Emporium and the iconic Kohima Cathedral – one of the largest in Northeast India.

 

Today we explore two cultural gems of Nagaland.
We begin with Khonoma – Asia’s First Green Village. We take a heritage walk through this eco-conscious village known for its nature conservation efforts and unique Angami tribe culture.
Later, we visit Kisama – the Naga Heritage Village which hosts the Hornbill Festival. Here, we immerse ourselves in the vibrant tribal traditions of Nagaland through their architecture, lifestyle, and interaction with the locals.

Today we proceed to Dimapur Airport as per the scheduled group flight.

Joining and Leaving (J&L) tour guests will leave the group after the scheduled program. If these guests have flight timing and airport same as per the schedule group, they can avail the airport transfers with the group. If not, then any transfer charges to reach their respective airport, cruise, rail, or bus terminal will be borne by the J&L guests.
