Taironaka Natural Reserve

Leave Santa Marta early to reach Don Diego in about 1 hour and 40 minutes. Early morning travel helps you avoid the coastal heat and traffic. Once in Don Diego, where the river joins the Caribbean Sea, take a guided 1-hour hike on ecological trails. Pack quick-dry clothes and water shoes for river tubing after the hike.
