Amritsar is the largest and most important city in Punjab and is a major commercial, cultural, and transportation centre. It is also the centre of Sikhism and the site of the Sikhs' principal place of worship—the Harmandir Sahib, or Golden Temple.

Tour Plan
Tour guests will arrive at Amritsar Airport as per their scheduled flight. Upon arrival, AKA World Tour Manager will meet these guests at the airport and guide them with airport formalities and lead the way to Amritsar - a vibrant city in the heart of Punjab, renowned for its rich cultural heritage, spiritual and historical significance and check in hotel.
Joining and Leaving (J&L) tour guests will join the group on their own at the first destination as per the information and guidance given by the AKA World Travel consultant.
J&L guests should book their to and fro air tickets as per the arrival and departure time of the scheduled tour flight to get the airport transfers with the group.
In case of early arrival or early departure the transfer charges to reach the designated place or hotel will be borne by the J&L guests.
Today we visit Ram Tirth – the birthplace of Lord Rama's sons, Luv and Kush. We then spend the day in the famous Punjab Farms. Here we indulge in cultural and traditional activities. We also enjoy the local cuisines of Punjab. Later we head to visit Attari Wagah Border (subject to operation) – to witness the prestigious lowering of the flags ceremony daily military practice that the security forces of India and Pakistan have jointly followed since 1959.
Today morning we have free time for shopping. We proceed to visit Partition Museum – also world's first museum dedicated to the Partition of 1947. Later we visit Jallianwala Bagh – a historic garden and memorial of national importance preserved in the memory of those who were killed in the Jallianwala Massacre that happened on 13th April 1919.
We then visit Golden Temple known as Harmandir Sahib or Darbar Sahib is the holiest Gurdwara and the most important pilgrimage site of Sikhism. Here we also see Akal Takht – throne of immortal and highest seat of authority of Khalsa. Golden temple at night is certainly a treat for the eyes & soul.
Today we visit the Punjab State War Heroes Memorial & Museum, built to showcase the supreme sacrifices made by the Punjabis while serving in the armed forces. We then proceed to Dalhousie – tiny tinsel town spread across five hills near the Dhaulandhar mountain range. Upon arrival, we have some free time to relax.
Today we proceed to Khajjiar – also known as Mini Switzerland filled with natural beauty and picturesque landscapes. Those who are with adventure spirit can experience thrilling activities like Paragliding, Zorbing and Horse Ridding etc. at an additional cost. Later we visit Khajjiar Sanctuary famous for Deodar Forest, Grasslands and an easy going hiking trail which leads to untouched forest and a mesmerising view of Pir Panjal ranges. In the evening, we stroll along the Ravi River and enjoy Boating on Chamera Dam.
Today we proceed to Dharamshala – a hillside city surrounded by cedar forests located on the edge of the Himalayas known as the home of Dalai Lama. En route we visit Kangra Fort – the largest fort in Himalayas built atop a hill with a sweeping view of the Kangra valley. We then visit Chinmaya Tapovan – an ashram at the foot of the Dhauladhar ranges in the Kangra Valley. Here we visit the meditation hall. A small walk to reach the Ashram through the dense pine forest offers a panoramic view. Upon arrival at Dharamshala free time to relax and explore the surroundings.
Today we explore Dharamshala. We take a photo stop at the Dharamshala Cricket Stadium. We then experience a ropeway ride known as Dharamshala Skyway offering stunning ariel views of the scenic town. Upon arrival we stroll around at the famous McLeod Ganj – a beautiful town nestled amidst majestic hills and lush greenery has a prominent Tibetan influence. Spend some time exploring McLeod Ganj. You can go shopping at the Tibetian Bazar.
Later take a photo stop at Dalai Lama Monastery (subject to operation) – serene Temple complex known for its ornamental façade and vibrant prayer halls and we visit Saint John's Church – a Victorian era church built in the 18th century and Bhagsu Naag Temple – believed to be an ancient temple where Lord Shiva had prevailed himself. Here we enjoy a small walk in the Himalayan Ranges, feel the freshness in the air while we walk through this picturesque paradise and witness the beautiful sunset in the Himalayas.

Tour guests will proceed to the airport as per their scheduled group flight departure time to start their journey back home.
Joining and Leaving (J&L) tour guests will leave the group after the scheduled program. If these guests have flight timing and airport same as per the schedule group, they can avail the airport transfers with the group. If not then, any transfer charges to reach their respective airport, cruise, rail, or bus terminal will be borne by the J&L guests.
